Astican says goodbye to the Ocean BalckRhino drillship after spending four months at our Astican Deepwater Quayside facilites.

After a month of preparations with the assembly of the largest crane in the history of the Port of Las Palmas, the lifting of 220 Tonnes of CMC was carried out and placed it on top of the drillship tower in April .

As we announced at the time, this was a pioneering operation in the naval sector in the Canary Islands.

The Ocean BlackRhino was being prepared last week and carried out sea trials in waters close to the Port of Las Palmas before setting sail for Senegal to work for Woodside.

A pleasure to work together! and  we hope to see you soon.

Astican Shipyard is ready to face all kinds of projects.
