Astican announces that has been certified with protocols for the prevention and control of possible health incidents, a new program of in-depth cleanliness and disinfection procedures.
Astican’s priority is the health and safety of our customers, staff, and family members. That is why the company has conducted a thorough review of all existing health and safety processes and worked with a team of experts to develop and validate additional protocols.
These protocols have been validated by SGS will be adapted to ensure customers ‘safety and peace of mind during all the activity in our shipyard. SGS is the world´s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company whose basic principles are quality, independence, and impartiality.
This verification will be carried out through a documentary verification of the protocols and health guidelines and verification in-situ in order to verify its application in all Astican facilities: in the shipyard, ARS I, ARS II and AGC-Muelle Gran Canaria.
SGS will make unannounced and periodic visits in which they could be verified if these conditions are been maintained.
These conditions include hand sanitizing stations at all entrances, the use of personal protective equipment and protective screens; enhanced and recorded cleaning and disinfection frequency; social distancing in all areas, training in local Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or World Health Organization recommendations and health guidelines. .
