At Astican, technical capability is the result of combining experience, skilled teams and infrastructure designed to support a wide variety of ship repair and offshore operations.
Our facilities include different working environments, each adapted to specific technical requirements. Within the shipyard itself, Astican offers extensive quay length with controlled draughts, supporting repair and maintenance works across a broad range of vessel types. These areas are complemented by specialised workshops for steel, mechanical, piping, surface treatment and electrical works, enabling most activities to be carried out in-house.
In parallel, Astican Deepwater Quay (ADQ) provides additional capacity for projects requiring deep-water access and heavy lifting, particularly for offshore-related operations. This installation is equipped with dedicated workshop areas and high-capacity lifting solutions, allowing the safe handling of large and heavy components and optimising planning and execution.
Across both environments, Astican operates with integrated workflows, minimising downtime and improving coordination between quay, workshop and project teams. Dedicated areas for hydroblasting, offshore works and OEM support further reinforce this operational flexibility.
By combining these capabilities, Astican is able to deliver technically demanding projects efficiently, maintaining high standards of safety, quality and reliability for the maritime and offshore industries in the Mid-Atlantic region.
