During the month of May, Astican was visited by students from different Engineering programs and from the master’s degree in occupational risk Prevention from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, from the Higher Degree in Administration and Finance from IES Mesa y López, and students from the Higher Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention from CIFP Villa de Agüimes, who came to get to know our shipyard. The students enjoyed a bus tour of our facilities, a “virtual tour” with virtual reality glasses, and a talk with our colleagues Adrián Santana and Marta Sarmiento,and with the collaboration of Cristina Melián and Christian Lima, who shared their work experiences.
These visits not only allow students to learn first- hand about the operation of our shipyard, but also offer them the opportunity to interact with our team and gain knowledge that complements their academic training. We hope to continue being a benchmark in the training of new talent!
