ASTICAN recognises the excellence of the ULPGC’s naval engineers.

The students Sara Rodríguez Bordón and María Selina Albarrán Madrigal, both students of the Degree in Naval Technology Engineering of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), have been awarded with the ASTICAN Excellence Awards, in the categories of best academic record and best Final Degree Project, respectively.

These awards, inaugurated in this first edition by ASTICAN in collaboration with the Department of Naval Constructions of the ULPGC and the Official College of Naval and Ocean Engineers, aim to recognise and praise the diligence and academic brilliance of the students studying the Degree in Naval Technologies Engineering. At the same time, Astican want to show the high level of the final projects in the ULPGC.

The awards ceremony was presided by the Vice-rector of Degrees, Postgraduate and New Degrees, Luís Hernández Calvento, accompanied by  Germán Suárez, President of Astican.
